We were among the Greek law firms to invest systematically in the development of a comprehensive toolbox to assist financial institutions and especially servicers on performing and non-performing loans to navigate the non-banking market for commercial loans, created by new legislation in 2015.

 

We assisted in the creation of one of the first independent Greek servicing companies, with which we co-operate organically in the consensual and non-consensual handling of complex debt situations and special single tickets.

 

We have worked for domestic and international financial institutions, investment funds and asset managers, and for non-banking buyers of performing and distressed asset-backed loans, and have assisted clients with the implementation of different strategies, including loan-to-own, monetary recovery and consensual and non-consensual debt to equity transactions and asset acquisitions.

 

We have advised and acted for legacy creditors and new loan owners throughout the life cycle of financings, including preliminary and detailed quantitative and qualitative due diligence, on-boarding, segmentation, design of standardized and bespoke recovery strategies and in and out-of-court pursuit of recovery.

 

Based on our combined strengths in disputes and finance we have developed a sharp perception of the key drivers of each different strategy, and very considerable experience working in tandem with analysts and finance experts over large data sets, to deliver analysis, strategy and action plans promptly, diligently and efficiently.
